Hi, I'm Steph !
Mum of soon-to-be four, a certified chatterbox, and the face behind Wild Ember Photography. You'll usually find me with a coffee in hand (or a cup of tea when I'm embracing my English roots), chasing after my kids, or soaking up time outdoors with my family.
I'm not the serious, stand-still-and-smile type of photographer. Think of me more as a friend with a camera, here to make you feel comfortable, have a laugh, and capture the genuine moments in between.
Whether your kids are full of energy, you're feeling camera shy, or your partner would rather be anywhere else, I've got you. The best photos aren't perfect, they're real, full of connection, personality, and all the beautiful chaos that makes your family yours.
Mumma of three (almost 4)
My three wild, wonderful kids are the reason this dream came to life. Watching them grow so fast it makes my heart ache, reminded me how important it is to capture the little things before they become memories. I’ve had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember, but it was them who gave me the confidence to finally go for it. They’ve taught me to find beauty in the chaos, to pause and feel the moment, and to follow my passion wholeheartedly. I wanted to show my nervous clients that photoshoots don't have to be feared.

BEST PART OF THE JOB
One of my absolute favourite parts of this job is meeting clients who start out nervous, saying things like “I’m not good at photos” and by the end of the session, we’re laughing, chatting like old friends, and they’re already talking about “our next shoot.” Helping people feel confident and comfortable just by being my easygoing self honestly fills my cup. I love seeing that transformation, and I feel so lucky to meet such incredible humans along the way!
GUILTY PLEASURE
I run on coffee and cuddles (and maybe the occasional chocolate stash).
